Exercise:
1. Introduction to training programs and organizations.
2. Modeling of supporting, sheeting and foundation constructions using software
GEO5 (Gravity wall, gabions, design of the shoring, footings, piles).
3. Modelling of slope stability using finite element method ( program
Plaxis) (taking into account the impact of strengthening and stabilizing elements, the influence of consolidation. water flow, some possible applications of different types of constitutive material models (creep model for modeling the behavior of soft clay, etc.).
4. Solution of stability plane problems of underground workings using Plaxis software.
5. Modeling the slope stability using software FLAC (finite difference method).
6. Modeling the stability of the tunnel using the software PHASES (finite
element method - planar model).
7. Use of the software Tunnel 3D - modeling of the tunnel stability based on the
finite element method.
8. Static numerical analysis of the spatial support system using software Feat
9.Modeling of stability problems in the discontinuous rock mass using software
UDEC (the method of distinct element).
10. Back analysis of the objectification of the input parameters of models (the
software INVERZET).
11 Stochastic modeling (simulation method Monte Carlo and LHS).
12. Final test, monitoring and evaluation.
Tasks:
1. Stability analysis of embankment using Plaxis software (determination
stress-strain and stability state corresponding to different stages of consolidation).
2. Final project.
