Accomodation Services of VSB-Technical University of Ostrava

Thirteen storey A and B buildings of VŠB-TUO student dormitory in Ostrava-Poruba, which were completely renovated in the past two years, provide accomodation for 1,721 students in 21 floors and 346 cells. One cell consists of two rooms, one double and one triple room. These two rooms have a shared bathroom and a hallway with a fridge. Kitchen equipped with
a cooker, a kettle and a microvawe oven is always shared by the entire floor.
Buildings C, D and E offer accomodation in double and triple rooms of cellular type. Each cell consists of two rooms which have a shared bathroom and a kitchenette (equipped with
a fridge and a stove). Each floor is equipped with a microvawe oven in the hallway.
Currently, all rooms have Internet access.
In the area of student dormitory, students can spend their leisure time in student clubs or any of the dance clubs (dance and folk music). Students who love music can spend time in music classrooms equipped with pianos. Possibility of sports is also sufficent. Students can use minigolf, fitness centres, table tennis playrooms, gyms and they can play darts as well.
In the campus of VŠB-TUO there is also a canteen, where students are provided with lunch and dinner.
