Accommodation

VŠB – TUO provides accommodation for international students at the Halls of Residence in Poruba (on the University campus) or Hall of Residence Dr.Malého (20 minutes by public transport). The Halls of Residence in Ostrava Poruba is the biggest accommodation area for students and employees of the VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava.

Accommodation capacity is nearly 2 000 beds and there is a possibility to choose between double or triple rooms. The monthly price for 1 person varies from 60 CZK to 100 CZK per one person/night.

The entire campus area is easily accessible by public transportation or by car. There are also plenty of cultural and sports facilities on the campus.
