Cost of Living
Every student has different needs and requirements; therefore every student has a different cost of living.
For basic expenses (which includes an accommodation, public transportation, food, reasonable personal expenses) students will need from 6 000 to 8 000 CZK (Czech Koruna) per month (240 - 320 EUR)
Samples of living expenses – approximate price in CZK per month
· Accommodation at Halls of Residence 2 000 – 2500 CZK
· Public Transport 300 CZK
· Food 3 000 CZK
(lunch in Menza 30-50 CZK, lunch in a restaurant 100 – 200 CZK, coffee 30 CZK, beer 30 CZK)
· Reasonable personal expenses 700 CZK
(cinema or theatre ticket 150 CZK, cultural events 50 – 200 CZK)
