VŠB-TUO - Organisational Structure

VŠB-Technical Uniersity of Ostrava is one of the higher educational institutions representing the highest level of the educational system. At its head is the Rector. His advisory body is the Rector’s Council, the members of which are the Vice-rectors, the Registrar, the Deans of individual Faculties, the Heads of All-university Departments and the Director of Accommodation and Catering. Other bodies are: the Academic Senate, the Scientific Board and the Board of Trustees of VŠB- Technical University of Ostrava.

Except for seven faculties the University has also All-university institutes, All-univeristy workplaces and University Facilities (Accommodation and Catering of VŠB-TU of Ostrava and an Editorial Centre).
