FULL-DEGREE SCHOLARSHIP IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 23/24

FOR WHOM? Foreign students of the 1st year of full-time study of bachelor's or follow-up master's study programme in English at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava who did not receive this scholarship during his/her previous studies at VSB-TUO.
HOW MUCH? You can be granted up to 50 000CZK per semester based on your study results, up to 100 000CZK for the academic year.
WHEN CAN YOU APPLY? You need to send separate applications for each semester. The winter term application dates are from the beginning of the winter term until 30 November 2023. The summer term application dates are from the beginning of the summer term until 30 April 2024.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: Submit in person your Curriculum Vitae, Application and Affidavit (forms attached below) to the study office of your faculty. All three documents are necessary.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION: You need to achieve a minimum of 20 credits at the end of the winter semester examination period with a weighted study average of at least 80 to be eligible for the scholarship in the winter term; you need to have a minimum of 20 credits at the end of the summer semester examination period with a weighted study average of at least 80, i.e. at the time of the study check you need to have reached a minimum of 40 credits for both semesters to be eligible for the scholarship in the summer term.
WHEN WILL YOU RECEIVE THE PAYMENT? If the conditions for granting the scholarship are met, you will be paid the granted amount according to the scholarship payment schedule.
