Anotace

This advanced English course is specifically crafted as a follow-up to the course English for Scientific and Academic Discussion: part one to elevate students‘ proficiency in academic and scientific contexts. It emphasizes the development of critical skills necessary for engaging in scholarly discussions, presenting research findings, and conveying complex ideas with clarity.
Through a series of interactive activities and targeted exercises, students will hone their ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral forms. By the conclusion of the course, participants will possess a strong foundation in academic English, empowering them to present their work confidently, partake in academic debates, and collaborate effectively with peers and professionals in their respective fields.

Entry requirements for the course:
The entry requirement for the course is knowledge of English at the B1 level. Completing the first part of the course in the winter semester is recommended but not a requirement.

Requirements for course completion:
Active participation in the class, processing of assigned tasks for the period of the summer semester, reading assigned sections of texts as a basis for the discussion during the classes, final test
