Course aims

To define transport system problems in road and urban transport. To pass judgment on research methods and transport survey methods from their usability in transport problems investigation point of view. To evidence relations among quality criteria, technology and economics of road and urban transport in specific conditions. To model static, dynamic and stochastic processes in transport. To propose solutions using optimizing methods. To evaluate key areas of rail, air, road and urban transport technology.
