Profile of the Branch |
---|
Follow-up Master's degree study of Business Economics program is designed so that graduates are able to be theoretically and practically acquainted in the market economy, especially at the microeconomic level and were capable of effective planning and analyzing the behaviour of economic actors in the marketplace. It focuses primarily on the issue of the manufacturing sector and entrepreneurship in all its forms. The base of the concept is in developing the field of study from bachelor degree and it consists of particular subject focused on corporate governance, strategic business development and entrepreneurship, innovation management and contemporary business economics concepts. Software Support for Business Economics, simulation and modelling of business processes, and development of specific business management (logistics, quality management, counselling, etc.) are an integral part of the study. The concept of the field of study is also based on work with talented students (the so-called "The Incubator of talented economists and managers”). |

- The goal of the field of study is to fully prepare students with knowledge focused on the small and medium enterprises and also prepared them in specialized business management in medium and large enterprises.
- The field of study provides a broad knowledge of business economics and management at the appropriate scale of the field in the Czech Republic.
- It provides a broad knowledge of economic and entrepreneurial theories, concepts and methods of examination of the business economics and fundamentals of business management.
-It allows students to understand the possibilities, conditions and restrictions of using theories, concepts and methods of the Business Economics field of study in terms of theory and practice.
- With the use of the expertise and on a framework defined task students/graduates can solve practical problems in business economics in small businesses, and logistics and quality management in medium and large enterprises.

Graduates can apply for a job in manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises in special economic positions in medium enterprise level. The application can also count out-plant sector such as chambers of commerce, business associations, government agencies dealing with the sphere of Business Administration, etc. |
