Profile of the Branch |

Economics and Law in Business reacts to the demand of the economists acting in many fields demanding beside economical knowledge also deepened knowledge of law. The aim of this study is to prepare graduates for jobs, in which they will solve standard and non-standard managerial tasks in small and middle companies as well as in the institutions of public administration.
Besides traditional economical knowledge this study is linked to bachelor study of the same field, whereas in master study the knowledge is deepened by the fields of international trade or legal relations created in it including EU law focusing on economists needs, financial law, insurance law and the rights to intellectual property.

Besides traditional economical knowledge of economics theory – microeconomics and macroeconomics, when in this kind of study the knowledge is deeper and corresponds to present status of economical science. The students also acquire deep knowledge of management, international trade operations, international trade law, and European law important for the economists, financial law, insurance law and rights to intellectual property. |

Using above mentioned professional knowledge the students acquire skills to solve managerial tasks. When leading the teams they will be able to solve problems complexly by themselves as for theoretical as well as practical aspects using recognized processes being acquired by new information. |

Above mentioned professional knowledge and skills the students will be able to use when leading the teams, activities of which they will be able to coordinate, plan and manage using new knowledge. They will be deciding in wider context and presenting own opinions to professional and wider public. |
Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples |

Graduates will be well equipped with knowledge of law and they can establish their own businesses in the different areas, they can work in public administration as well. This master study gives the basis to the students to act as auditor, tax adviser, broker, executor or insolvency administrator or holder of procuration. |
