Summary
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the computer applications supporting the development of management and increase of the competitive potential of companies and institutions using appropriate of current information and communication technologies.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the computer applications supporting the development of management and increase of the competitive potential of companies and institutions using appropriate of current information and communication technologies.

Course Contents
1. Organizational assumptions of management information systems of companies and institutions - the role of the information manager, preparation of information strategy, assessing the benefits of investment in IS / IT.
2. Organizational assumptions of management information systems of companies and institutions - Selection forms of innovation IS / IT, system integration, selective tender.
3. Integrated corporate IS - function ERP system, the basic modules of the ERP system, types of ERP systems.
