Summary
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Students will acquire specific knowledge and skills:
- to search of literature of problem topic,
- to analysis of problematic legislation,
- to setting goals and research questions.
Course Contents
The Subject is focused on the preparation of both the topic and the primary and secondary sources of the future thesis. Students will gain a deeper insight into selected issues, a clear idea of the focus and content of the future thesis, knowledge of the requirements for formal processing of scientific text and citation ethics. Prerequisites and co-requisites The prerequisite is the active participation of students in seminars and cooperation with the seminar leader in preparing their own proposal for the future thesis. The proposal of the future work is in the form of a seminar paper that includes:
- draft title of the thesis;
- a framework for the thesis;
- proposal of the goal (s) of the thesis;
- search of relevant domestic and foreign literature;
- an overview of related legislation;
- synthesis of theoretical background;
- the main evaluation methods;
- analysis of data and subjects evaluated.
