Summary
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Students will acquire specific and deeper knowledge and skills:
- to plan and organize the processing of the task;
- to search and analyze professional literature;
- to processing and analyze selected data.
Course Contents
The Subject is taught by individual supervisors of the diploma thesis solved within the study program Public Economics and Administration. The content of the course is focused on acquiring deeper theoretical knowledge of the subject matter of the diploma thesis and on deepening the skills necessary to achieve the goal of the thesis. Under the supervision of the supervisor, the student, especially in seminars, consults the process and processing of the theoretical and application parts of the thesis, in accordance with the Diploma thesis assignment.
The student is required to work continuously during the preparation and elaboration of the thesis with the appropriate supervisor. Compliance with the requirements of the guidelines set out in the Final Work Guidelines and the A, B, and Diploma Workbooks. Elaboration of more detailed outline of diploma thesis, determination of hypotheses, goals and procedure of their solution including selection of suitable methods of solution. Processing of theoretical background of subject matter on the basis of research and analysis of professional literature. Elaboration and submission of about half of the text of the thesis elaborated in accordance with its assignment.
