Summary
Practical training is optional subject only for students from the final year of Bachelor’s study programme who apply for the state exam in that year. The aim of the course is to develop students’ professional, comprehensive and soft skills, promote improvement of their competences in practical terms, and to get experience of the processes in the organization where the practical training is held. Students are sent to organizations of public sector to do the training. The practical training lasts at least ten 8-hour workdays during summer holidays (especially in July and August).
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
After completing the course, students will be able to:
1. to define the organizational, administrative and economic security of the activities of the organization where the practice was carried out
2. demonstrate the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in the field of public economics and administration in practice
3. prove the acquisition of practical knowledge related to the given area of public economy and administration
Course Contents
1. Selection of the organization, arrangement of the practical training and the position student will be placed to (list of the expected working duties and obligations).
2. Approval of the professional position for the practical training by the course guarantee.
3. Practical training in the selected organization.
4. Evaluation of the practical training.
