Summary
In the course the students will understand the nature of economic policy, get acquainted with its chosen types and relations between them, will realize the influence of economic policy on the microeconomic sphere (companies, households), will acquire basic skills to evaluate current economic policy, its main problems and impacts of partial changes in economic policy.

• Market and government failures, changing views on the role of the state in the economy from the point of view of individual economic schools
• Economic policy, influence of institutions and expectations on its form and effectiveness
