Profile of the Programme |

The foundation of the program Economics policy and Administration are knowledge of the common basis of the studies in the area of micro economy, macro economy, corporate finance, accounting, taxes, marketing and management. These knowledge and skills are generalized and deepen during the next phase of the studies within particular study fields especially in the following areas: corporate finance, financial markets, economy policy, European integration and European Union, labour policy and regional policy, etc.

The graduates of the bachelor study program Economics policy and Administration will gain fundamental knowledge in the common basis of the studies in the area of micro economy, macro economy, corporate finance, accounting, taxes, marketing and management. These knowledge and skills are subsequently generalised and deepen. Graduates will gain skills and knowledge according to their study field in the following areas:
• financial management and financial decision-making,
• money and capital markets, commercial and investment banking,
• economics and regional policy including policy within EU,
• governmental, regional and municipal policy,
• organization and tools of the public administration in the Czech republic and EU,
• financing mechanisms of the public administration, etc.

• Investment projects valuation,
• Products analysis of the commercial banks, mutual funds, insurance companies, etc.
