Summary
The course includes general, inorganic and organic chemistry to the extent intended for students in technical non-chemical fields.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim is to gain knowledge of a specialized chemical concepts and interrelationships context effects and properties of elements.

6. Chemical reactions, thermochemistry, kinetics and equilibrium
7. Electrochemistry
B) Inorganic chemistry
1. Inorganic nomenclatures
2. Mendelev´s periodic table of elements
3. The physical and chemical properties of gases elements
4. The physical and chemical properties of non-metals elements
5. The physical and chemical properties of basic metals elements
C) Organic chemistry
1. Organic nomenclature
2. Saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons
3. Aromatic hydrocarbon
4. Functional groups, alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acid and others.
5. Macromolecular substances.
D) The principles of materials corrosion.
