Summary
Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject acquaints students with materials and technologies of road and motorway construction. The first part of the course is devoted to materials and design of road construction and their disturbances. In the second part, the students will acquire the methods of diagnostic road survey which will evaluate the current state of the road and then with the process of the design a technologically correct way of maintenance or repair.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Purpose of this subject is to spread knowledge about designing of roads construction section, qualitative requirements of structural materials and modern technology that are used in roadworks.

2. Laying and composition of roads, types of construction layers
3. Design of design, basic data for design, design methods - distribution, development in the Czech Republic and in the world
4. Mechanics of roads
5. Road disorders, their causes and development
6. Classification of disturbances of lean and rigid roads
7. Surface properties of roads
8. Path Management System
9. Diagnostic road survey
10. Evaluation of diagnostic survey, load capacity measurement
11. Normal and continuous maintenance
12. Repair and reconstruction
13. Recycling of roads
14. Proposal for renewal and reconstruction of roads
