Summary
The syllabus of the course is a continuation of the previous courses History of Architecture and Urbanism I - V and complements them appropriately. The lecturer emphasizes the understanding of architectural work in the second half of the 20th century with regard to the different political and economic developments in the world and finally the current contemporary work.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The subject is aimed at gaining insight into the assessment of the requirements of the "liquid modernity" of the present and it is appropriate to revive the classical archi-tectonic view that says it is a resilience of quality architecture and urbanism to the demands of change. improving the position of architecture in society would be a method that would not lead to unexpected twists and turns transmitted from political overreactions.
