Summary
The course deals with the basic requirements for buildings from the viewpoint of protection of public interest and in relation to general and technical requirements, including requirements for barrier-free use of buildings, stipulated by legal regulations and Czech technical standards.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
To acquire basic knowledge of the principles of creation for the design of residential buildings, civic amenities and employment in relation to general and technical requirements, including requirements for barrier-free use in relation to the optimization of the use of individual premises. An integral part of the course is mastering the orientation in legal regulations and Czech technical standards affecting the design of the building.
Course Contents
Lectures:
1. Introduction to the subject, basic terms and terminology of civil facilities and buildings
2. General technical requirements ensuring barrier-free use of civil facilities
3. General technical requirements ensuring barrier-free use of buildings for employment 4. General technical requirements ensuring barrier-free use of roads and public spaces
5. Transport buildings - parking and parking areas, garages, special technical requirements
6. Buildings for social services - social services facilities, technical requirements
7. Construction of accommodation facilities and special technical requirements
8. Buildings for business, hygienic requirements of food stores and range of shop equipment
9. Technical and material requirements for equipment of medical facilities
10. School and pre-school facilities and specific technical requirements
11. Recreational and sports facilities in dwellings, hygiene conditions and safety requirements
12. Administrative buildings and premises, technical requirements of the standard environment
13. Buildings for production and storage and special technical requirements
14. Spatial composition of industrial premises, production zones and technical requirements
