Summary
The course develops essential knowledge and skills in management. Lectures are focused especially on issue of project management and managerial economics in conception of integral security. The attention is also paid to personal and strategic management. The key task of the course insists in fulfilment of semester project engaged in technical-economic evaluation of security project on prefeasibility study base. During the performance of project tasks students acquire teamwork and communication skills.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Students explain a role of staffing manager and the stages of work group formation. Student is able to characterize basic phases of the project and explain the content of project studies. Student is also capable to clarify the essential terms of managerial economy as well as strategy management. Student is able to manage working groups and to create a business meeting report. Students evaluate the proposed security measure economically and defend team work results.
