Summary
The course deepens students' knowledge of a dynamically evolving field - prevention of emergencies in territorial units. It provides information on the safety management system and the quantitative assessment of the risks of emergencies to human health and life, property and the environment. The requirements for the elaboration of the risk analysis of territorial units are analyzed in detail, as well as the quantitative risk assessment on practical examples.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the area of risk assessment, which is part of the risk management. Students will be introduced to risk assessment procedures for specific risks.
