Summary
The course provides the basic knowledge of the area of engineering drawing in
construction. It gives a necessary basis for the production and mainly reading of graphic technical
documentation. Part of education is to create technical documentation using AutoCAD graphic system and Revit.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Students learn basic rules for graphical representation in building construction drawings. They must practically demonstrate knowledge of drawing and marking fundamental building constructions and displaying in ground plan, vertical cut and also making dimensions and descriptions. Students can interpret basic knowledge into designing of ground plan building object and to apply them in the solution of the building situation. The subject also deals with the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the design, implementation and use of construction in the area.
