Summary
The course acquaints students with basic management practices to achieve those objectives, in conjunction with the safety and security of the population. At first, students are introduced to the concept of management, both in general, but also in a broader context with respect to safety. In addition, students will become acquainted with individual managerial functions and their relationship to business safety. Students are also introduced to basic managerial skills and critical factors that influence the success of management.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Students will acquire basic theoretical and practical knowledge of management, with a focus on individual managerial functions and management techniques, also applicable in the field of security.

3. Organization management, corporate social responsibility, corporate ethics, corporate culture
4. Organization management - strategic, tactical, operational
5. Manager's communication and presentation skills
6. Basic managerial functions - planning, organizing, leadership, controlling
7. Working meeting, principles of its management
8. Organizational structures
9. Personnel management, motivation and leadership theory
10. Teamwork, motivation, team remuneration
11. Personal management - self-evaluation, career, time management, resistance to stress
12. Project management
13. Frameworks and standards in the field of safety management
