Summary
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The subject is one of special subjects focused on obtaining the basic abilities and organizational skills necessary for coping with natural crisis situations and mastering the methods of prevention of these crisis situations. It provides basic information about the origin of the Earth and a possibility of occurrence of natural disasters. It develops students’ abilities to understand and define basic endogenous and exogenous processes, to classify and define natural disasters and to handle the basic principles of protection against natural disasters.

3. Klasifikace a charakteristika přírodních katastrof, jejich vznik; globální problémy
4. Všeobecné poznatky o Zemi
5. Povodně, ochrana před povodněmi
6. Vybrané povodňové zabezpečovací práce
7. Svahové pohyby
8. Sněhové laviny
9. Zemětřesení
10. Záchrana osob z demolic a závalů
11. Přírodní požáry
12. Meteorologické jevy
13. Vliv přírodních katastrof na životní prostředí a možnosti řešení
