Summary
The basis for determining appropriate safety measures is to perform safety analysis - process safety studies and evaluation of the expected internal and external risks. The basis for performing a quality analysis is the correct definition of the company's assets and knowledge of appropriate analytical and statistical methods. Students learn the methods of mathematical statistics, methods for the analysis of multidimensional data sets, methods, regression and correlation analysis and the like. The range of activities in minimizing security risks associated with the existence and activities of the company. The course also aims to acquaint students with the threats and risks posed by modern age. The course will take into account the new concept of security research and will not be far from confined to the so-called research.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
In this course, students should deepen their knowledge of risk analysis and be able to apply it in assessing risks in physical security. They will be able to process safety studies and evaluation of the expected internal and external risks. Students will be able to practice analysis and correctly define the assets of companies.
