Summary
The instruction is focused on mastering vocabulary, grammar and phrases in the given scope. Speaking, reading, listening, comprehension and writing are used to meet the set goals. A student will be able to check in to a hotel, describe a person physically and order in a restaurant.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim is to create a grounding of general language with the output level A1-A2 (full-time as well as part-time) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

2. Verb to BE, questions and negatives, numbers 21 - 100
3. Possessive adjectives, the alphabet
4. Practical English: in a hotel

6. Adjectives, modifiers, writing: description of the person
7. Imperatives, let’s, feelings, signs
8. Revise and Check 1 + 2
9. Present simple: affirmative, negative, verb phrases, third person – s
10. Present simple: questions, jobs
11. Word order in questions, question words
12. Practical English: at a coffee shop
13. Telling the time, Social English phrases
14. Credit test
