Summary
The subject deals with design of power engineering systems, alternatives of the design, methods of decision-making analysis to select the optimal variant of design. Multicriterion analysis is the basic part of the subject.

Student is enable to design of power engineering systems, alternatives of the design, methods of decision-making analysis to select the optimal variant of design.

Introduction to design of electric distribution networks
Network sketching, rules, instructions
Functions of power engineering systems

Types of networks, balance of electric energy supply
Alternatives of design of the network
Methods of decision-making analysis
Multicriterion analysis, selection of optimal variant
Design of distribution point
Switchboards
Design of transmission lines
Cable line design
Computer-aided design

Project electric energy supply for cities and urban units

Exercises:
Rules of dimensioning of electric equipment
Instruction for design
Solving the project of concrete distribution network
