Summary
The aim of this subject is to describe influence of temperature conditions, as well as of time dwells in concrete forming technologies, on structure and, above all, mechanical properties of formed materials. Attention is given to forming accompanying processes, such as softening and hardening processes, as well. Among others, most common procedures of non-ferrous metals thermomechanical processing are discussed.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
- student will be able to summarize pros and cons of conventional technologies of materials forming
- student will be able to describe main parameters influencing final properties of materials formed
- student will be able to identify impacts of termomechanical parameters controlling to materials forming
