Summary
In this course, students will get experience with SCADA / HMI system. The subject is aimed at professional Reliance 4 system designed for monitoring and controlling industrial processes and building automation. Reliance 4 is used for visualization and control of technological processes in various fields, such as: gas industry, chemical production, heating and air conditioning building complexes, dispatching for heating control of entire towns, coal and hydroelectric power, visualization of various production lines, intelligent buildings, management of irrigation systems and other applications. This system is not only safe and robust, but also optimized for very large applications.
Your complete application can be easily available to remote users. Reliance Web Client is a Java-based program designed to run the visualization project over the Internet while Reliance 4 Smart Client is intended for use with tablets or smartphones running iOS, Android, Windows Phone, or BlackBerry OS.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Reliance is a professional system designed for the monitoring and control of industrial processes and for building automation. The resulting visualization can be easily displayed on a PC, Web, tablet, or smartphone. As a result, Reliance is a customizable, reliable, and robust system that can be adapted even for complex applications. The main benefits of using Reliance for systems integrators are state-of-the-art and user-friendly development environment and reducing development, testing and start-up time of applications.
