Summary
The course leads to the education of skilled professionals who are able to work independently and promptly solve assignments operational nature at companies dealing with electrical equipment in transport and other sectors. After graduating from a student to a critical approach to the evaluation and acceptance of risk has knowledge of the inherent redundancy and the reaction of security. Will provide an overview of the elements for railway signaling, basic information on security systems and their design, inc. relevant legislation.
Graduated in the labor market has application in companies engaged in the production, operation and maintenance of power, signaling and telecommunications systems for all transport modes. It can be utilized in the design and construction institutes. Thus, knowledge acquired in the bachelor degree students also create prerequisites for continuation in master's study program in the same or related orientation and focus.
The main teaching method is to monologues method, ie. The lecture and reading exercises, ev. briefing. The main assessment method is an oral exam.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Student after completing the course to know the theoretical foundations of transport safety in general and its hedging using electronic systems. Another objective is to provide basic information on elements of the railway signaling equipment in the middle level of detail and basic information about railway signaling systems. It also put an emphasis on relevant legislation and procedures for the technical proposal in the field of working designer EZ.
