Summary |
---|
The subject is focused on special medical technology - laboratories in the field of biochemistry and hematology, as well as on gas and air distribution systems as well as electrical wiring. Next to the field of technology in operating theaters. A brief mention is made of special spaces such as transplantation, burn centers and central operating theaters. Other areas include surgical robots, ophthalmology, implantable medical devices and sterilization. The special area is gerontology and assistive care, special infusion techniques for diabetics and angiology and angiolina. All of these areas also have an overlap in diagnostic methods using this technique in the relevant fields of medicine. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |
---|
The aim of the subject is to focus on special medical technology and the relevant area of diagnostics. The benefit of the subject is to acquire knowledge and acquaint with the principles, techniques and use of these devices and their use in diagnostics in selected fields of medicine. The course supplements the basic knowledge of medical electrical devices in the field of biomedical engineering. |
