Summary |

The design of electrical equipment requires the acquisition of knowledge from the areas of relevant legislation and technical standardization. The design of electrical equipment includes the elaboration of conceptual designs and calculations, the elaboration of circuit diagrams, the technological and material specifications to comply with applicable laws, government regulations and decrees. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

The graduate acquires advanced knowledge for the creation of projects in modern projection systems. Graduate can handle efficiently use the available software tools for creating, processing and management of project. Gets the necessary habits designing according to applicable regulations and standards. This course is mainly focused on the software system Engineering Base. |
Course Contents |

Lectures:
1. Basic principles and rules in the field of design. Necessary knowledge of technical standardization.
2. Structuring principles and reference designations projects - EN 61346-1.
3. Policy making documents used in electro technology - IEC EN 61082-1 ed. 2nd
4. Data structure in the system Engineering Base - database manager, working with projects.
5. User Interface Engineering Base - a description of the Navigator, Microsoft Office Visio, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft VisualBasic for Applications (VBA).
6. Electrical connections - connect automatically, potentials and substance, import potentials.
7. Function according to IEC Standard - structure, types, navigation, import, binding equipment to function.
8. Frames - Frames devices, location boxes, frames, functions, frames, cables.
9. Leaves Drawings - structure documentation, editing, information drawing sheets association with the location.
10. Protocols - work lists in Visio, editing reports, inspections, external documents.
11. Dictionaries - foundation, features, export and import. Information Items - attributes, system attributes, the attributes for special purposes.
12. Symbols - symbols links to objects, symbol libraries, plug-in symbols, cross-references, editing symbols, partial circuits.
13. VBA projects, modules, macros - creating, starting, export, import, add-on modules.
14. Data sharing between different users, sharing information between programs. |
