Summary
Design Methodology of Measurement Systems is focused into the following teaching blocks: D/A and DSP system block diagram amd architecture if its parts, plug-in DAQ cards parameters and methods of their measurements and evaluations according with IEEE standards, Methodology of design of automated measurements and testing systems, project leading and managing, Systems of industrial vision
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The goal of the course is to get students familiar with the methodology of automated measurement systems design.

Students will become familiar with particular phases of automated system design and will also get familiar with the tools used for such activities.

ATS design methodology introduction
UML and its application ATS design methodology
Requirements mining
ATS HW Design
ATS software design, design patterns, SW life cycles
Design of ATS GUI, MMI, design patterns
ATS SW testing
Writing documentation, methodology and principles
ATS price calculation

CASE studies of ATS
Semestral project specification
Semestral project solution and consultations
Excursion to the company dealing with ATS design, manufacturing and commissioning
