Summary |

The subject belongs to the group of profile subjects of the branch and follows the subject of X-ray diagnostic methods. The subject of ultrasound and X-ray defectoscopy deepens students' knowledge gained during their bachelor's studies, extends them mainly to practical applications such as ultrasonic testing of non-metallic materials, evaluation of practical radiation defectoscopy tests, X-ray strain gauge and X-ray detectors and comparison of X-ray structural analysis of real samples. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |
---|
Students describe ultraconic defectoscopy methods, explain physical principles of ultrasonic interaction with material, they propose appropriate methods for non metal materials tests. They are familiar with principles of standardization and metrology of ultrasonic defectoscopy analyses. They evaluate records of radiation defectoscopy tests and X-ray tensometry, they compare results of X-ray structure analysis of real samples. |
