Summary
Students are introduced to the basic principles of hardware resources used for automation of measuring devices and setups completed with the introduction of work in LabView systems engineering software.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The objective of course to introduce the students to the design of experimental measurement systems including hardware and software. The usage of the graphical user interface is presented too.

1. Measuring transducers.
2. Virtual measurement devices and digital interfaces.
3. Introduction to LabVIEW systems engineering software,
4. Basic principles of graphical programming.
5. Cycles and registers.
6. String, arrays and clusters.
7. I/O files management
8. Desing of graphics
9. Flow control
10. A/D conversion issues
11. Plug-in multifunction measuring cards and graphical user interface
12. Design of experiments in LabView
13. Individual training
