Summary
In its theoretical part, the subject deals with the requirements of standards for outdoor and indoor lighting, using both daylight and artificial light. The practical part emphasizes the application of normative requirements to software for illuminance, luminance and glare calculations. The requirements for light-technical designing are explained.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
After passing this subject students know how to define problems related with lighting systems projects. Students must know how to explain and describe difficult counting methods for lighting systems designing for daylight, insolation, indoor lighting, sports lighting, lighting of outdoor work places, road lighting, architectural lighting, obtrusive light and emergency light. Student is able to use special software for lighting systems computing. During the lighting systems projecting they know how to interpret technical thinking and creative attitude in new intelligent control systems solving.
