Summary |
---|
Control system has substantive influence on safe operation of machines and apparatus. It must be designed and realised at the basis of actual degree of risk in accordance with technical standards and directions. After graduating, student will know operating features of individual safety elements and design safety control system with regard for classifying degrees of risk. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |
---|
1. Students will be acquainted with the risks resulting from the use of machinery. The clasiffication and the preventive measures will be shown as well.
2. Students will be able to describe the requirements of the standards EN 60204, EN 60439 and ISO 13849-1, it’s practical application in the electrical equipment of machines.
3. The ability of self – done conversion of risks of machinery into performance level PL and further into the destination of the category of safety-related part of a control system of the machine is the aim of this course.
