Summary
For the students, educational excursions are arranged to nanomaterial-manufacturing companies or companies dealing with applications of nanomaterials – when the operation of the company allows it. For example, NANO IRON, s.r.o. (manufacturing of elemental iron nanoparticles and technical support for their application), SILVER MEDIC, s.r.o. (manufacturing of colloid silver and gold), PARDAM Nanotechnology (manufacturing of organic and inorganic nanofibers), SPUR a.s. (manufacturing and application of polymer nanofibers and polymer nanocomposite materials), NANOTRADE, s.r.o. (surface treatment of materials, production of nanosilver and nanosilver-based anti-bacterial agents), NANOMEDIC, a.s. (biopolymers, nanofibers, liposome-based drugs etc.).
