Summary |

The subject acquaints students with chemical practice during practice in the chemical plant. Students will learn to create a literature search.
The subject is concluded by credit. For the award of credit is required to submit a report of practice and presentation. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

The aim of subject:
- learn how to create a literature search,
- apply acquired theoretical knowledge to different processes of chemical practice.
Outputs:
The acquired knowledge:
- knowledge of the search databases,
Acquired skills:
- the ability to find the appropriate literature for the processing of scientific work,
- the ability to use theoretical knowledge gained in a chemical laboratory.

Course Contents |
---|
1. Information seminar
- Information on the requirements for selecting a company to practice;
- Acquaintance with the content and formal adaptation of the seminar paper and presentation;
- Demonstration of search databases and websites.
2. Presentation of the company in which the practice will be carried out - it must be approved by the teacher.
3. Practice - min. 40 hours in chosen company.
4. Submitting a Practical Report (MS Word).
5. Presentation of the practice at the final seminar (MS PowerPoint). |
