Summary
Students will apply the knowledge of technical documentation in the CAD system environment. They gain knowledge about 2D data processing and 3D models. Students will acquire basic knowledge in the field of drawing documentation, modeling of basic 3D objects and creation of reports. After completing the course they will be able to create a 3D model, a functional set and draw up a drawing documentation.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Objective of the course:
The course is to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the components of the design process in the CAD system, focusing on structurally technological aspects arising from the design and development of the car.

Learning outcomes:
Students will gain theoretical knowledge of CAD systems, learn the ways of 2D drafting and 3D modeling are familiar with CAD system, including the use of the generator frame structures, design accelerator draft gears, screw connections, springs, etc.

Gain skills:
Students will gain practical skills in CAD systems. The outputs from modeler students use when creating drawings and graphical outputs.
Course Contents
1)Introduction to object, familiarization with CAD software, (setting user interface to define the material properties of the components, the physical properties of the model / assembly)

2)Basics of modeling, process for creating a car wheel and tire with basic operations (extrude, rotation, rip, sweep)

3)Logic operations with components (addition and subtraction, creating holes and threads, filleting and chamfering)

4)Making the ribs, creating an array of elements, elements of the division.

5)Creating geometrically complex parts, production of parts using the form surfaces, process design spindle car.

6)Working with the set and the content center, loading machine parts (bearings, screw connections).

7)Production of components using a generator frame constructionists Framework sample procedure for designing self-supporting truss car frame.

8)Formation of the gear spring through the design of the accelerator include defining material and strength properties.

9)Drawing components, setting drawings, finish drawing templates.

10)Assembly drawings, bill of materials.

11)The formation consists of one sketch, creating much of volume body parts.

12)Analyzes the impact of materials on the environment, stress analysis in a CAD ambience, analysis of fluid flow (process design car radiator).

13)Creation of graphical outputs, preparing scenes, rendery.

14)Presentation of semester project.
