Summary

The subject is the first of two which are intended for the bachelor thesis. At the beginning of the term, students choose the subject of their graduate work from the listed topics of bachelor theses. In the course of the term, they will develop a literary research on the subject and familiarize themselves with the laboratory procedures of the experimental part. The course of the bachelor thesis is continuously supervised by the teacher. The credit is given on the basis of the work evaluated by the supervisor and the short presentation of the results at the end of the term.

The subject is oriented on the experimental experience related to optics, magnetooptics, magnetism, molecular modelling, and sample preparation as well as on the competence to formulate the problem and present its solution in the form of bachelor thesis.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The subject is oriented on the experimental experiences related to bachelor thesis as well as on the competence to formulate the problem and present its solution. The student will gain practical experience and skills in the work with professional literature. The topic of the bachelor's thesis is selected at the beginning of the term from the problems formulated by the supervising teachers.
Course Contents
The subject is oriented on the experimental experiences related to bachelor thesis as well as on the competence to formulate the problem and present its solution. After the introductory lecture the students work individually under the supervision of their bachelor thesis tutors, at the end of term they present the partial results of their work.
