Profile of the Branch |
---|
Graduates try to obtain basic theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of transport machinery and material handling, conveyor belts and lifting equipment, especially cranes. In the framework of the study branch the students themselves develop knowledge further from the design, operation and maintenance of transport machinery and handling equipment, used in industrial plants and in other branch activities. They are made acquainted with the use of computers, computer graphics and diagnostic methods in the operation of machines and in the repair business. Branch graduates get to know basic engineering subjects, and by studying branch subjects they gain practical and theoretical specialized knowledge about transport and lifting machines and handling equipment. Bachelor study graduates can find employment in managing the operation of transport and handling systems in industrial plants, the construction industry, agriculture and similar areas. They can occupy mid-technical positions in repair service companies, in maintenance operation companies, in management positions, in construction and development offices. |
