Informal learning - max. 60% of credits gained in prior lifelong learning can be recognized, as determined by the Dean of the Faculty.

Finished secondary education with secondary school-leaving exam.
Regulations:
The Czech educational system is regulated by the Higher Education Act (Act 111/1998). Studies at VSB-TUO are regulated by the Statute of VSB – Technical University of Ostrava.
Profile of the Branch
Within the Robotics specialization, the graduate gains experience and skills in managing independent routine work in the areas of construction components of robots and their peripherals (conveyors, manipulators, robots effectors, etc.), including implementation of special sensors etc.). Furthermore, the basics of the methodology and procedures of risk analysis of these workplaces. Skills with routine use of SW tools 3D CADy - Creo, simulation SW V-Rep and basics of work with Robot Studio.

Knowledge:
Within the Robotics specialization, the graduate gains experience as a designer of robot elements, manipulators and peripheral devices robotized workplaces (conveyors, bins, heads of industrial robots etc.), including collaborative robots, but also as designers these equipment, and in particular the operating technicians involved in the operation, adjustment, programming, diagnostics, maintenance and repair.
Skills:
Within the Robotics specialization, the graduate gains experience and skills in managing independent routine work in the areas of construction components of robots and their peripherals (conveyors, manipulators, robots effectors, etc.), including implementation of special sensors etc.). General competencies:
Within the Robotics specialization they will acquire basic competencies in the field of teamwork, importance of individual team roles and their coordination. They have knowledge of using specialized SW tools in the areas of robotics and mechatronics.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples
Design and design offices for mechanical engineering - robotics, mechatronics, automotive using cutting - edge 3D design and simulation tools. System integrators of robotic workplaces. Designers of these devices as well as operational technicians,ensuring operation, adjustment, programming, diagnostics, maintenance and repair.

Remark:
Course block: Compulsory - all courses are compulsory.
Course block: Choice-compulsory - student has to choose at least one course from the list of courses.
Course block: Optional - student can choose any course from the list of courses.
 
IMPORTANT: Student has to select so many courses to reach 30 ECTS credits per semester. Rules in detail and convenient selection of courses can be consulted with the programmme director.
Bellow stated courses are assigned for the degree studies only. Students coming to VSB-TUO for an exchange stay must select courses from the List of courses for exchange students.
