Summary |

The course is for students who need to develop their reading skills. It is based round texts which provide a comprehensive introduction to issues relating to mechanical enginnering. The language has been simplified in these texts, but their academic style is typical of that found in technical literature. Exercises which follow these texts cover grammatical features, vocabulary, functions and phrases commonly found in academic texts. |
