Summary
The course is focused on the field of mathematical theory of reliability and the theory of design of maintenance systems. The use of continuous and discrete distributions of a random variable to describe the phases of product life and the method of estimating the distribution parameters is shown. Furthermore, methods for solving non-renewed systems and their use in the design of maintenance systems are shown. The design of maintenance systems is supported by methods of examining wear and degradation processes and their impact on maintenance. Economic aspects of maintenance are also discussed.
