Summary
The instruction is focused on mastering vocabulary, grammar, and phrases in the given range. Students will acquire comprehensive language skills and use terminology related to the topics, that are the content of the course, so that they are prepared for management positions in an international working environment. Students will be able to prepare a successful and dynamic presentations, using contrasting and generalizing phrases, including reassuring once. They will also learn to use verb tenses to describe past events (including linking words and phrases), work with gerunds and infinitives, express their own opinions and attitudes (using assertiveness), and deal with complaints. They will as well acquire professional terminology and language skills related to selected technical texts in reference to the focus of the faculty.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim is to create a grounding of ESP language with respect to communication skills, i.e. reading, writing, speaking and listening with the output level B1-B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
