Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

The course is designed to study energy field machinery and equipment, specializing in ”construction of steam boilers and heating equipment“ and ”nuclear power plants“ and is optional for the focus of ”Energy Industry“. 1. The definition of the calculation of fuel diagram QAW, a mixture of fuel additive effect desulphurisation and SNCR.
2. Effects of fuel on the concept of the boiler.
3. The influence of power and steam parameters on the concept of boilers, supercritical parameters.
4. The influence of other design requirements boilers, preparatory calculations for the design of the boiler.
5. Layout heat transfer surfaces, regulatory characteristics boiler flue diagram.
6. Procedure for calculating heat boiler.
7. Thermal analysis and design of boiler parts.
8. Basics construction of different types of boilers, fireplace design.
9. Calculation and design of air heater.
10. Calculation and design of the water heater.
11. Calculation and evaporator design for boiler with natural circulation.
12. Calculation and evaporator design flow.
13. Calculation and design of superheater and intermediate superheater.
14. Abrasion, corrosion, start-up and shut-down boiler.
