Summary
In the course the students are acquainted with the work of designers of technological workplaces, plants and factories. Existing standards and regulations, the method of approving project documentation and the work of the investor are explained. A great part of the lectures is devoted to the designing methods and the specific preparation of the technologist-designer for collecting and analyzing the input information supported by the computer technology. Students will become acquainted with the principles of the prosperity of the production process. Technical development of production. Decision Making Managers. Operational control of production.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to deepen and expand knowledge and to use methods of systematic designing. The student is competent to elaborate the technical requirements for the design of the production workplace and to propose measures for improving the working environment. Students gain an overview of production management concepts, get acquainted with the objectives and decisions of the production management, can solve specific citations from the area of operational control of production.
