Summary
The lessons focus on mastering the lexis, grammar, and phrases within the given scope. Students will acquire comprehensive language skills; they will be able to use terminology related to the course topics so that they are prepared for management positions in an international working environment. Students will learn phrases common in telephone communication with customers as well as expressions thanks to which they can communicate suggestions and solutions and describe problems in meetings. Students will also get acquainted with basic principles of word formation and learn to structure their presentations. An integral part of the course is the development of skills related to work with selected technical texts and professional terminology in connection with the focus of the faculty.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim is to create a grounding of ESP language with respect to communication skills, i.e. reading, writing, speaking and listening with the output level A2 – B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
